The 3 ways mentioned in this article are based on Tony Promos’s Door to Door service, taking our delivery to customers in the United States as an example (similar to customers in other countries). Below are the 3 most common ways of transportation we deliver our customers’ orders to their hands.
1) Express
Express Shipping generally means that FedEx, UPS, or DHL directly pick up and transport the goods from our warehouse in China to our customer’s warehouse. Normally, it only takes 1-5 business days to ship from China to North America. Taking FedEx’s international limited service as an example, the earliest our customers can receive their shipment is the second business day after we ship it out.
This transportation method is the fastest, compared to the other two transportation methods below, but also the most expensive. We choose Express Shipping usually to complete sample delivery, relatively small orders, or rush orders.
2) Air Shipping
Compared to Express Shipping, Air shipping takes longer. We have to first transport the shipments to our Forwarder’s warehouse. Then, they will transport the shipments from the Chinese airport to the airport in the destination country. After the customs clearance is completed, our Forwarder will make an appointment with FedEx, UPS, or DHL to eventually pick up the goods and deliver them to our customer’s hands. This whole process normally takes 8-12 business days.
Air Shipping is less costly than Express Shipping, while faster than Ocean Shipping below. It is our most commonly used way of delivery. With Air Shipping, our customers can get a good price and receive their order in time.
3) Ocean Shipping
Ocean Shipping has a similar process to Air Shipping. We first transport the shipments to our Forwarder’s warehouse. Then, they will transport the shipments from the Chinese port to the port in the destination country. After the customs clearance is completed, our Forwarder will make an appointment with FedEx, UPS, or DHL to pick up the goods and have them delivered to our customer’s hands. This whole process normally takes 20-25 business days.
Ocean Shipping requires the longest turnaround among the 3 shipping methods in this article but the lowest cost. It is usually the most preferred choice for customers with rich experience in purchasing overseas, or those with large orders. Ocean Shipping allows customers to get a competitive price to take down most of their competitors, without compromising the quality of the products. The only thing is that they often have to start preparing and placing their orders 2-3 months ahead of their deadline.
All these 3 ways of delivery have their bright sides and dark sides. However, whichever way you choose, you still don’t need to worry about how to import goods from China, how customs clearance works, or how to pay customs duties. Tony Promos will take care of all these complex works for you throughout the whole process. The only thing you have to do after placing your order is just to wait for the arrival of the goods.
